South Africa coach Rassie Erasmus has hailed the efforts of debutante Herschel Jantjies after the 23-year-old scrumhalf scored two tries in a 35-17 win against Australia in their opening Rugby Championship clash on Saturday. Jantjies had a huge impact on the game at Ellis Park with the highlight being a 62nd-minute try as he stole away down the blindside that gave the home team a decisive 28-10 lead. The Springboks ran in five tries to two as they pulled away in the second half. They meet world champions New Zealand next Saturday.
