JUNIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT ADVERT

Radio Hindvani is looking for a dynamic, creative and motivated Junior Technical Assistantto join our vibrant radio team!

Key Responsibilities:  

▪ Broadcasting and recording.
▪ Audio production and editing.
▪ Troubleshoot technical issues.
▪ Live broadcasts etc.

Minimum requirements

▪ Matric + Sound Engineering Certificate (1 year & above) OR Film/Video Technologyor Music Production Qualification.
▪ Recognised Sound Engineering Diploma (will be an added advantage).
▪ Minimum 1 year experience in a broadcast / sound engineering environment.
▪ Experience in Digital Sound within live, production and post–production radio environment will be an added advantage.
▪ Driver’s License: C1 (Code 10) with PDP.
▪ Familiarity with audio software and IT.
▪ Computer literacy, e.g. Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office.
▪ Fluency in English (understand, read and write). (Knowledge of Hindi an added advantage).
▪ Keen interest in the radio industry & technical matters pertaining to audio.
▪ Keen interest in KZN’s cultural landscape.
▪ Passionate, flexible and reliable under pressure.
▪ Willingness to work irregular hours and shifts (including weekends) to sustain 24/7 on-air radio broadcast.
▪ Willingness to travel for outside broadcast or remote events.
